Luther’s Story

My name is Luther St Louis, and I am 2016 Graduate of the Faith Home Ministry. Prior to the Faith Home, my life was in complete chaos! I was addicted to drugs and alcohol, and that was my world for 10 plus years. An ongoing cycle of failure was what I knew; it was my norm for a long time!

When I arrived at Faith Home by divine intervention, God radically changed my life! The very first Scriptures that I read when I got to the Faith Home, which is now my life verse is Isaiah 43:1-3: But now, thus says the Lord, Who created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior… The Lord not only showed me, but I realized that am I chosen, I have been redeemed, AND He called me by name!

The Faith Home has impacted my life in such mighty way, because it helped me to realize that RELATIONSHIP is what I lacked with Jesus. I knew of Him, but really didn't KNOW Him. I realized that, just like I was off the chain for the world, I can be OFF THE CHAIN for Jesus!

Since graduating from the Faith Home, I am now married to my beautiful, prayer warrior wife, Samantha, and I am father to my anointed son, Ayden. I am the youth leader of the Lighthouse Freedom Center’s powerful youth ministry, Kingdom Catalyst. And I know that this is only the beginning of an amazing journey with the Lord! I thank God for the Faith Home!
